After Paris and Istanbul, the French Fair is about to debut in Sydney. The event will be host in 2017, from March 9th until 11th. Silmo General Commissioner, Eric Lenoir, stated that the Sydney edition of Silmo is a great opportunity to involve buyers and opticians from Australia, New Zealand and Pacific Islands, hosting brands and companies from either eyewear and optics sector: lenses, frames, contact lenses, material, services and so on. The main goal is to turn out as the new event to gather brands, labels and companies coming across the world. To ensure quality and a relevant product offering, organizers are planning to create two advisory committees. The first one, Eyewear Suppliers Panel, will represent exhibiting companies that are responsive to the needs of the market. The second one, Eyewear Retailers Panel, will be bring up together independent opticians, distributors, optometrists, opthalmologists and other professionals belonging to the eyewear and optics sectors.
